Yoriichi Tsugikuni is Born
The greatest Demon Slayer in history is born. He creates Sun Breathing (Hinokami Kagura) and nearly defeats Muzan Kibutsuji. His brother, Michikatsu, becomes the first demon.
Yoriichi vs Muzan
Yoriichi Tsugikuni encounters Muzan for the first time. He lands a devastating blow that nearly kills Muzan but is unable to finish him. Muzan is permanently marked by Yoriichi's attack.
Michikatsu Becomes Kokushibo
Michikatsu, consumed by jealousy of his brother Yoriichi, becomes a demon and takes the name Kokushibo. He becomes Upper Moon One.
Yoriichi's Death
Yoriichi dies at an old age, never having achieved his goal of killing Muzan. His legacy of Sun Breathing is passed down through the Kamado family.
The Kamado Family Tradition
